Almost 2 years later!

It's been nearly 2 years since the last time I wrote here. In that 2 years, we added 2 new members to our family- our beloved Miniature Pinscher, Marley (2.5 years old), and Chloe, our Chihuahua/Maltese mix (1.5 years old). Love both of them SO much, but could do without the marking of every blanket/shirt/pants/socks we have in the house. If I wern't so in love with both, I would have rehomed them by now, LOL! Marley has my heart, he is my boy. he is very protective of me, spazzing out at anyone who comes near me, including Johnny and Ella. We've had him for over a year, but Chloe has only been with us for about 6 weeks now.

Ella is in 1st grade, and is SO smart and is turning out to be an incredible artist! She gets the artist genes from her Grammie and her Uncle Jeff. She truly is 6 going on 16. She is so full of life, and just LIVES for playing and having fun. She is very social and has so many friends at school. I am so incredibly proud of her!!

I have one painful absence from my life, and that's another baby. It was so fast and easy to get pregnant with Ella, I just assumed it would be just as fast and easy with another. We've been trying for so long, and every month when it doesn't happen, my heart just silently breaks. I want to experience the joys of a newborn again. I don't remember much of Ella's first year, because I was so exhausted! So I want to experience it again, atleast one more time. I might have to go to a fertility Dr. soon to figure out what is going on.

I feel SO guilty for being so sad about not being able to get pregnant again. My brother, Jeff and his wife, Rachael have been trying to no avail either. I won't go into details about their situation, but I am very sad for them. I know how badly they want just one baby, and here I am, complaining that I can't have just one more. Infertility issues just plain old suck!

Maybe it's the best thing for us right now, with lay-offs at Johnny's work coming soon. I *doubt* he will get laid-off, but you never know. Nothing is 100%, and that's pretty scary! He works so hard, I will be so devistated if he is one of the lay-offs :(.

Going to go pick up Ella and her 2 friends that I watch in the mornings and after school now. It's getting so chilly outside, I just love it! Fall is my favorite time of year, I love wearing sweaters and light jackets.
